The teams were meet with cool temperatures which was a first for them this season which made the racing fast and exciting and with over 80 cars in our four classes, the fans were destined to see great action.

Quick Fuel Technology PRO Gas hit the track first and after three rounds of qualifying we found Dan Mullin taking the top spot and earning the Dishon Transmission Service low qualifier cash. Semifinal pairings had Kenny Robinson advancing over a foul start from Rex Stamps to meet up with Bob Eaker who pushed Mullin under advancing to the final. The final was all Eaker who took the tree and lead the way to the stripe taking home the win.

Rod and Custom Maching PRO Comp rolled up the lanes next with NDRL vetern Gary Williams taking the Dishon low qualifier cash and the bye for round one. Semifinal pairings had Williams advancing over Verne Griffin to meet up with Gary Leever who advanced with a bye. The final was decided early when Leevers chute dropped out on the launch slowing him down and letting Williams roll on out to take the win.

Phenix Industries PRO 7.5 drivers were ready to dual and that and everyone was chasing Kerry Millet taking the point on Q1 holding it into eliminations and taking that Stanke Motorsports low qualifier bonus. Semifinal pairings found Bill Lehmann advancing over Pat Malloy to meet up with Millet who advanced over Dave Shaffer. The was decided early when Millet left early earning Lehmann his first win with the NDRL

Ross Racing Engines PRO 7.0 thundered to the lanes and it took Don Nave just two attempts at the track to let the rest of the field know that there is a new sheriff in town going dead on 7 to take the point, the Stanke Motorsports low qualifier bonus and the potential bye into first round. Semifinal pairings found Jeffrey Sanborn advancing over points leader Billy Smith to meet up with Nave who downed Cory Millet. The final was all Nave as Sanborn left staring at a red bulb parking the Sleigh Ride in victory lane.

Our next event is the ET Genie Fall Finals October 13-15 at Beech Bend Raceway Park. This is the final event for the 2017 season and will be a nail biter as we still have championships that need to be decided.
