SCHEDULE UPDATE:5/15/2012
Today it was confirmed that our race at Indy on July
13-14 has been canceled by the officials @ LORP. Our group along with
the Midwest Super Comp, Midwest Top Dragsters, and Midwest Top Sportsman
were all made aware today just after noon that the weekends events were
called off.
I will not go into it here about the politics involved in the decision that was made by the track. What I will confirm is this:
The
track management has decided that some of the rental agreements could
not be kept. Our money was covered and there was no issue with the NDRL
at any time. This problem was not started by the NDRL but we are grossly
affected by the results.
For over a week, we have known that
this might be a possibility and we have been proactively trying to
secure another venue. As of 10:45PM, we have contacted several tracks in
the tri-state area about running and have a quite a few prospects
already lined up with one in Indiana, two in Kentucky, and two in Ohio.
Most
venues already have the schedule full so this has been quite a task
trying to find a quality track with two days available. There is also a
possibility that we will have this race on a 1/8 mile track. If that is
the case, the track will also have a test and tune available on Friday
along with our qualifying to help convert your index's to the 1/8 mile
numbers.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. I hope to have a replacement announced by Friday of this week.

It was confimed Monday that Brad Penn Oils would once again be part of the prizes available at all NDRL events. Danny Fisher,Owner, of DND Oil Company will furnish cases of Brad Penn Oil to all of our race winners for 2012. Racers agree that "the Green Oil" is a leader in oil technology and it shows as its used by a large majority of of NDRL racers. We will also have Brad Penn available for purchase at the track for your racing needs.

NDRL officials are pleased to announce that Saldana Racing Products has came on board for the 2012 NDRL season.
Saldana has been in business in central Indiana since 1994. The company stated out building dry sump tanks and overflow tanks to now building radiators, fuel bladders and a whole catalog full of racing accessorizes.
